And now comes "Subfusc", the first album by the rhythmic
noise prodigy Tarmvred.
And for those who don't want to read further, here
comes a MP3
of "Amfetakrom" (6min, 2.8 Mb). This track appears
on "Krach Test".
Who has said Swedish industrial is only dark and
slow? Tarmvred
is here to prove the contrary. With his self released demo "Ileus",
Jonas Johansson has proved last year that hard hitting beats, innovative
patterns and a solid club/techno appeal can be mixed together in
utterly enthusiastic tracks.
Energy, speed, complexity, diversity. Here are the
keywords of "Subfusc", an album that surprises a lot of
people and seduce even more listeners. A highly crafted album that
sets a new standard for the rhythmic noise genre, and definitely
offer more than the usual release of this kind. This album contains
a remix by Converter.
Ad Noiseam will also release from Tarmvred
in september a 3" CDR called "Onomatopoeic"
limited to 50 copies containing remixes by Aural
Blasphemy, Digidroid and Any Future, as well as one track by
Tarmvred.
Tarmvred will
also appear on various compilations this year.
Finally, Tarmvred will be part of a split
full length CD with Panacea and Needle Sharing, to be released
in December 2001 on Ad Noiseam.
More information about Tarmvred
is available on the project's website at www.tarmvred.net
