Combat Astronomy. A strange name for an innovative project. At the border between harsh noise and experimentalism, James Huggett uses various sound sources, loops and distortion to create deep and complex tracks of ear blasting, cinematic noise.

"Lunik" is the first full-length album by Combat Astronomy to be released. Combat Astronomy was however half of the very first CD ever released on the american cult label Troniks (a successful split with Sleeping with the Earth), which has brought a lot of attention to this project.

"Lunik" is what you would hear if you were sitting on the moon, in an astronaut suit, and listening to some strange modern tribal music through broken headphones. Loops and beats supported by relentless waves of noise. This album is crafted like a spiral, progressing to its core before coming back to the edges of the begnning. Abrasive but deep, complex and solid, "Lunik" is a very well thought out album, that will appeal to fans of both noise and innovative industrial music.

This album is, packaged in an oversized DVD box. The first run of this disc is a limited edition of 100 handnumbered copies.
