mp3:
-Enduser: Kill it (Larvae killed it, remix by Larvae)
-Enduser: Reset (excerpt)

After having played concerts together on many occasions, remixed each other (Larvae on Enduser's “Bollywood Breaks” and Enduser on Larvae's “Empire) and having been featured on many compilations together, Enduser and Larvae were bound to meet each other on wax. At the top of their form, Enduser and Larvae presents here the definite encounter of hard hitting breakcore and bass-heavy, dark drum'n'bass. With its high-level production and a great attention to the detail, “Unraveled Ears” is a juggernaut of heavy beats, sudden breaks and sweeping low frequencies: godsend for DJ, and a treat for all fans of clever hard tunes.

After having played concerts together on many occasions, remixed each other (Larvae on Enduser's “Bollywood Breaks” and Enduser on Larvae's “Empire") and having been featured on many compilations together, Enduser and Larvae were bound to meet each other on wax. These two bass-heavyweight champions confront each other on “Unraveled Ears”, a game of scrabble were drums, bass and breaks have been added to the alphabet.

With a (very different) “Dead Weight” album freshly added to their hunting board, Larvae throw themselves in the game the mid-tempo, subwoofer-wrecking “What's left of starting over”, a drum'n'bass piece that is guaranteed to appear in many playlists, and feeds some amphetamines to Enduser's “Kill it”, infusing it with well found samples and a regenerated energy.

Enduser, while working on a new full length album for Ad Noiseam, shatters the board with “Reset”, an inflammatory breakcore piece confirming his position in the pantheon of the shattered beats gods, before disfiguring Larvae's calm “Warding” and turning it into an up-beat, melody-ridden and consciously twisted drum'n'bass number.

Godsend for DJ and a treat for all fans of clever hard tunes, “Unraveled ears” is the perfect encounter between two of the most talented acts of the genre.
