Free release by Raoul Sinier.

With albums ranging from instrumental hip-hop to intricate, gritty pop leanings, Raoul Sinier has always shown how open-minded (and eared) he is through his solo efforts. Starting last year, though, he experimented with not only remixes, but full-on covers of pop tracks, as an art of hommage to acts that had influenced him (remember, we already posted his version of Siouxsie & The Banshees's "Sin In My Heart" here).

The time had come for him to gather all these cover versions, which is the case today with the free release of an 11-track album, simply entitled "Covers". Based on original songs by such a wide array of artists as Björk, Morphine, Portishead or The Doors, it is available for download directly from Raoul Sinier's website or just right here. Click, listen, and enjoy how these songs can sound, re-invented by Raoul Sinier.

Raoul Sinier's latest album, "Guilty Cloaks" (Ad Noiseam adn146) is out now and available on CD here or as digital download there.
