As we're getting closer to the release of their first record ("The Lost", adn126, to be released next week), Matta has taken time to sit down on the interviewee couch to answer some questions from The Drop Doctors.
Check out this interview to learn a bit more about Matta, how this duo came to being, read about some good (and less good) live experience, and see what they have coming up.
Matta have also prepared a little extra to celebrate the release of "The Lost", in the form of a free remix / mashup of sort of "When I Was A Yout" by Pablo Gad. The track can be listened to over here or just below these words. Yes, you've read and heard correctly: reggae mashups on Ad Noiseam. Hell hasn't quite frozen over, though, as Matta's remake clearly makes me with that these guys had been in charge of defining how reggae should sound.
Matta's record "The Lost" is coming out on Ad Noiseam on March 10th, and can be purchased here on vinyl, and there as a digital download.

And while we're at it, though you can get more Matta mp3s at the info page for "The Lost", here's an excerpt from this record:
