While it'd be pushing it to say that this first EP by Archie Cane pushes any boundaries, it does its things pretty well, and probably better than most other Audio Phreaks newcomers. The title track is a sweeping, massive and evil piece of (slightly) filthy dubstep. Things get a little bit faster and a little bit more broken on the flip side, providing a nice contrast and a little bit of diversity. Nothing super new under the sun, but a competent record for any DJ looking for non-noisy, heavy dubstep.
