Now that's a welcome re-release. It's pretty much a given (at least in my neck of the woods) that Autechre's best years were the 90's, and Warp has had the good idea of compiling the 11 EPs from this act released between 1991 and 2002 (including the excellent Basscad, Anvil Vapre and both Peel Sessions) in a luxury, limited edition, remastered boxset. The whole thing looks heavy, slick and simple, and the tracks belong to the most important and essential tunes that were released back then and almost single-handedly defined electronica and IDM.. Mandatory.
