Second volume of the two records in which Autechre's "Move Of Ten" was split: A direct (and quickly delivered) companion to last year's remarkable's "Oversteps", this similarly designed "Move Of Ten" sees Autechre confirm hat they are back to sounds and tracks than their usual listener can actually understand. Equally melodic as "Oversteps", but a bit beatier and straighter, "Move Of Ten" might very well be the "simplest" Autechre album since their very beginning (if this adjective can be used to describe their music). IDM fans of the early hour will also appreciate the heavy use of some hommage-sounding pads and beats here and there. Another reason to make friends again with Autechre.
