2009's version of Autoclav1.1 sees this über-romantic UK musician combine material in the vein of his past albums (clear beats, violin lines and a general feeling that he enjoy Detritus's music a lot) with much rockier and new wave elements. With the inclusion of vocals and electric guitars on some tracks, the whole thing gets a strong industrial rock feeling at times. All in all, there's definitely more musical variation here than on the previous Autoclav1.1 CD, but the thing stays very dark industrial / electronica oriented. Fans of the earlier material should have no problems finding their marks here.
