The solo project by one of the members of Punch Inc, and a regular of the whole Bassbeben event (read of the same family as Asche, Morgenstern, Synapscape and all their side-projects), Bipol is surprisingly not the hard power-noise dancefloor that one might expect, but a more mid-tempo, almost laid-back and distorted industrial act. His debut album "Ritual" works as a somewhat more chilled out version of the whole rhythmic noise thing, and, with the exception of a Moctan remix, is definitely more something for long night drives or home-listening than for the club. Still raw and dark, here's something aimed at all the post-power noisers among us.<
