Very interesting new album for this Cologne-based artist and sound designer, blurring the paths between songwriting, weirded out electronica, sound design and downbeat. "Second wind phenomenon" is quite a ride, but keeps a rather tongue-in-cheek and cinematic (the CD also contains a video) mood all along, while heavy beats, gritty details and not-so-serious voices collide in tracks which sound a lot better than this description. Interesting and well done.
