Though it doesn't make any sense to judge Cardopusher from his breakcore past, even listening to his later, first dubstep then general "bass music" releases doesn't prepare you to his once-again transformed sound as displayed on this new three tracker. As sunny and light-hearted as "Yr 15 minutes", but less broken and more aerial, "Goldo State" is clearly summer electro, going straight to the feet and rather accessible. Still, one can recognize Cardopusher's trademark long and somewhat latin melodies on the title tune, as well as this musician playful but high quality production. A recommended release, of course, but one which redfeines Cardopusher yet again.
