Following the "Versions Grain sampler" 12" (whose 4 tracks are to be found here again), Cloaks brings here a sequel to their "Versus Grain" album in the form of this CD featuring two new tunes and seven remixes by the likes of Justin Broadrick, Dead Fader, Ancient Methods, Oyaaarss and more. The diversity gained through these remixes really makes Cloaks's scraping but deep combination of industrial noise and dubstep tempo shine. May it be the metal-sounding remixes by Justin Broadrick or Oyaaarss or the pounding one by Dead Fader, this CD provides a new found acessibility and appeal to Cloaks's already solid material, and is therefore extremely recommended.
