It's quite an interesting release that Spain's Crisopa presents us as his first CD, following a few digital-only Eps. It might sound at times like a rock-affair, with guitars, voice and drums coming first, but it's all mixed with relatively club-friendly, zeitgeisty electronic elements, such as rapidfire little drum beats or electronica melodies. In the end, the overall feeling is contemplative, and it all fits well with the shoegaze acts on N5md roster, although Crisopa's music definitely has more to offer and does his thing with a lot of originality.
