While this new 12" by Cyrus doesn't change too much from the formula he has developped, either solo or with Random Trio, it might be both his most accessible and varied record to date. On the A side, "Grot Bags" is a heavy, very low flying and quite dirty number, while the flipside's "Coco Riddem" gets a lot dubbier, more smokey and roots-oriented. There's therefore a bit of something for everybody here, the whole thing coming with Cyru's typical dry, percussive and resolutely dark sound.
