Dälek are without a doubt the most interesting sounding and the most forward thinking hip hop act to have emerged in the last few years. Following the "Streets All Amped" 12" on Ad Noiseam, this american act confirm their slight change of sound on "Abandoned Language", an album where the noise level goes down one notch, and leaves more space for vocals, melodies and sonic trickeries. Still massive, somewhat deeper, Dälek have outdone themselves once again, and confirm that they deserve even more recognition than they currently have. Not-to-be-missed, golden album which you will still listen to in decades.
