The debut by London-based Dark Sky is a record suffering from split personality. The title track is firmly planted in 90's rave, with old school synth lines and amen breaks relegating more modern and tricky detals to the background. "Ghost Notes", on the B side, is however a much zeitgeisty dubstep track, heavy on the low keys and bubbly 8-bit melodies. As usual with Black Acre, this is a well thought, well recorded and well produced record which deserves attention and praise, however two-faced it might be.
