Interesting debut by this German artist, who mixes a relatively warm kind of jazzy downtempo with very clicky beats and a heavy dosis of industrial-minded low-key melodies. Somber, nostalgic, but also quite sharp and rather multi-layered, this is an album that reminds me of what Photophob had done on Hive Records. The whole thing is well recorded and sounds quite mature. Not as dark as the cover art might lead you to think, and a very pleasant album all throughout.
