Though the cover artwork is shockingly dark for a N5md release, looking more like something from Skinny Puppy than anything else, the music on this debut album by Dreissk fits well with the shoe-gazing, introvertive sound of Mike Cadoo's label. Supported by a really clear electronica foundation, the guitars are quite washed out but build slow rhythms, reminding a little bit of what could be heard in some witch house if you were to pitch it all down. A very nice debut and solid signing for N5md.
