Third album for Edgey after three years of relative silence. Stylistically, this NYC-based one-man brigade hasn't changed much, and carries the torch of his energy-packed, twitching combination of fast drum'n'bass and pummeling rhythmic noise. There are not so many people doing this anymore, and Edgey hasn't lost his touch, as "Misfire" proves to be another particularely angry and loud album, on which the d'n'b elements might actually get a bit more space than they had on the previous "Flawed". Nice and hard.
