Extended re-release by Tympanik Audio of Ex_Tension's 2005's "Desert" self-released EP, coming in the heels of this German act's new album on Signifier (and also available here). The four original tracks (already clocking above 40 minutes) come enriched with the uncommon addition of five remixes (by Access to Arasaka, Totakeke, Geomatic, Sonic Area and Zentriert Ins Antlitz) mixed into one big bonus track. Music-wise, the whole thing is definitely more old-school industrial minded as Ex_Tension's latest album, and sounds to me as heavily influenced by This Morn Omina & alii. A nice re-release for fans of the genre.
