Fourth album already for Fanny, who is getting away from the hard and distorted beats of his past, and moving towards resolutely more IDM-ish tonalities. While each track of "Shoebomb Hurricane" is stylistically consistent, the album is a uncommon mixture of genres, with tracks ranging from club-oriented breakcore to mid-tempo soundcollage, from nice melodies to voice samples. Featuring remixes by Venetian Snares and Not Half, this is quite a ride, which fans of this musician should be sure to enjoy.
