Following his relatively low profile 2006's debut, Belgium's Fractional comes back with a new full length on Flint Glass's Brume Records. A mixture of relatively oppressive rhythmic noise, snappy drum'n'bass patterns, a few breaks and the odd sample here and there, "Come Mierda" is quite a nice bridge between open minded industrial sound and a resolutely dark breakcore / d'n'b one, and features remixes by Detritus and Disharmony. Not the craziest album of its kind, but clearly a lot more modern and relevant than most industrial releases of the moment, here's an interesting CD that should find its audience without much difficulty.
