Interesting new 12" by Fractional, and the first vinyl release for the Centrifuge label, who had so far had digital releases only. Less dark, drum'n'bass and generally speaking less dancefloor oriented than 2008's "Come Mierda", this "Still Life?" shows this belgian act trying himself (and succeeeding) at intricate, mid-tempo IDM-ish electronica. Clear sounding, enriched with very nice catchy melody and a strong production, and not too complex, this is definitely a keeper for Fractional, all surprising at is might be.
