Considering that Gonjasufi's "A Sufi And A Killer" album is so far one of the most talked about Warp release of 2010, it doesn't come as a surprise that we're treated to a remix album, in which 14 of its tracks get remixed by various friends and collaborators, confirmed names and newcomers all mixed. Mark Pritchard (Harmonic 313), Bibio, Oneohetrix Point Never all deliver good new versions, and there's a genuine attempt by each artist at turning Gonjasufi's particular brand of electronica and catchy, semi hip hop vocals into something different. Bonus points come from the fact that no track is remixed twice, which makes of this remix album a very varied ride, but something which doesn't get boring, and a valid companion to the original album.
