Kicking off a CD with an hommage to Public Enemy is a good thing in my book, and this short debut CD by Russia's Gromov (known for his track on both Acid Samovar compilations and a few gigs opening for Venetian Snares) goes straight to the point. With 6 tracks and clocking slightly under half an hour, "Bring Da Noise" is a well produced, high-energy mixture of breakcore, IDM and mash-up as we have all grown to know from the recent wave of tongue-in-cheek breakcore. Well done party stuff that should find its spot in playlists.
