We had to wait 6 whole years for this record to finally see the light of the day. While a few white labels had been sold back in 2001, it's only now that this very early 5 track by Hecate gets properly cut and pressed. Containing some of her darker and most distorted tracks, and definitely closer to her "Magick of Female Ejaculation" debut than to her latest "Brew Hideous", "Summer of Love" is Hecate's work as we grew to like them: oppressing, syncopated, gritty and changing. Definitely something that those of you who found her newest album hward to swallow will enjoy a lot.
