Though it is really only in 2006 that this duo got his spot in the light with its first album on Hands, the German act Heimstatt Yipotash has been active since 2001 and celebrate its tenth anniversary with this double CD featuring 25 remixes of their tunes by friends and colleagues. On the menu, we get mostly industrial, power-noise minded folks, with a few exceptions such as Keef Baker, The Empath or Displacer. 25 remixes are quite something to swallow, all the most since, all in all, the whole release is firmly planted in the post-EBM, noisy industrial territory of its original material. Not bad, but clearly something for the Hands and HY fans.
