Considering how strong each and every past release by Himuro (Yoshiteru) has been so far, I shouldn't really be surprised how much I like this new album, but still: he's really done it again. A lot less hip hop oriented than some of his most recent stuff, his new full length album for Murder Channel is a very detailed and highly crafted ride through sliced beats, chiptunes, flowing melodies and the occasional outburst of breakcore patterns. Hard to describe, as this is very complex material, but very easy to enjoy and, again, towering in its flow and execution. Another very recommended release by a criminally underrated artist.
