Pretty varied EP that this new two tracker by Jack Sparrow for Mala's always high-quality Deep Medi imprint. The title track is a semi-garage, bassy and efficient (post-) dubstep tunes which marries well the in-your-face tones of his first releases with the more abstract releases he later had on Tectonic. The B side is a much milder and smoother jazzy number, co-written with Ruckspin and something which could obviously have been included on the album that the two wrote under the Author moniker. Dancefloor on the one side, home-listening on the other: quite an uncommon recipe, but two strong tracks nonetheless.
