Another beautiful album from Jasper TX, this time on Fang Bomb, who had already offered us recently a great collaboration between Machinefabriek and Peter Broderick. Jasper TX is clearly less post-rock and more drony than ever before on this new album: the tracks have gained in length, and while the melancholic strings are still very present, the whole thing sounds a lot more atmospheric (in the truest sense of the word) than on this artist's past album. Beautiful, charming, and mind-numbing in a good way, here comes another very recommended album from an underrated musician.
