All right, where should I start? 4AD was one of my favorite labels in the early 90's, and though I didn't follow at all what they were doing recently, I was quite enthusiastic with the idea of a release by Joker (another guy I like quite a lot) on this imprint. The result is mitigated. While the B side instrumental is a solid Joker piece, a bit sunnier than "Tron" & co but very crunchy in its crunk 8 bit tones, the vocals by Jessie Ware on the A side ruin the tune for me. Exaggerated, not fitting the music at all (and sounding better themselves at 33rpm), they just shouldn't be there. So, well, B side it will be for me.
