Excellent new six tracker from the constantly reliable Kelpe, who offers six rather varied tracks of his uplifting but downtempo, friendly but complex electronica. A little bit of house gets thrown into the mix, together with some breakbeats, some 8-bits crunchiness and long melodies. Reminding at times of (a more interesting version of) Four Tet, but more daring and with a broader horizon, here's a musician who, in my opinion, hasn't yet met the recognition he deserves. Very recommended.
