Now that's a change: King Midas Sound is a new project co-headed by Kevin Martin (a.k.a. The Bug, or a member of Techno Animal, God and plenty of others, for those of you who have been criminally missing out in the last years. A lot lighter and a lot softer than The Bug's material, this EP uses more or less the same song structures, but pair them with extremely soft, almost spoken word-ish vocals. Add to this remixes by no less than Dabrye and Flying Lotus, and you get a very charming, insidious but surprisingly down key and mild for Kevin Martin. Nice one.
