Interesting debut album that this CD from Known Rebel. While its second half is made of remixes (including some great ones by Mothboy, Roel Funcken and 2methyl), all of them more or less adding weight and thickness to the tracks, the first 7 tracks are a lot sunnier and laid back. The album even kicks in with a little hip hop number, and "Hollow" is something which could have fit well on the late Merck roster. Instrumental, electronic but quite uplifting and straight, it's something which doesn't fit very well with its cover artwork, but is all in all nicely done.
