Peace Off's press release for this début by France's Le Jad is full of superlative, and one has to admit that they're quite right. A super energetic mixture of breakcore, a tad of guitars and a bit of electro, "Painful Epic" is a very catchy, driven and very efficient record which, even though it still bears the mark of a first effort, shows quite a display of talent. A very nice discovery from a band I look forward to hearing more from. Recommended.
