Things have gone up a notch in speed and thickness with Likhan's new record: while this french producer might still stick somewhat to 7even's post Basic Channel influences and dub elements, the minimal aspect of his previous records is as good as gone, and his beats have become considerably more "regular techno" oriented than what we can hear from the rest of his roster (and even from his labelmate F). It's all pretty straight, quite clear and very clubby, but also a bit less original than it used to be, in my opinion.
