Allegedly recorded back in 2008, which is to say at the same time as Lingouf's previous two albums, "Doème" is a much more musical trip for this musician, who walks more or less the same path as Igorrr's here (I guess they put something in the water in France that makes producers go crazy), mixing accoustic instruments, long instrumental samples and his own brand of broken hardcore. Progressing from relatively chilled to all out aggressive, not over the top and benefiting a lot from its constant melodies, "Doème" is by far my favorite work from Lingouf so far. Recommended.
