In an unexpected but oh-so-welcome move, Lustmord chose vinyl as a format of choice for the final companion to his "Other" album. This thick, 180g pressed but very modest looking "black label" sees the man himself and Justin Broadrick (of Godflesh, Techno Animal and Jesu fame). The result is a very dubby, but also uncommonly "old school" version of Lustmord new material, in which Brian Williams allows for some resolutely gritty drums and echoed guitars to answer to his spectral soundscapes. Surprising, but excellent, if you ask me.
