Fifth volume of Hyperdub's fifth birthday series, and the first to focus more on contrast than on a coherence of style. Mala's track, while clearly not what you would call classic dubstep, is instrumental, relatively percussive by the current Hyperdub standard, and very much my thing, while Cooly G's keeps on her vocal ridden, r'n'b-influenced and stripped down material true to her debut 12". And still, I don't think that anybody following this genre can seriously pass on a Mala track at the moment, can he?
