It's good to set high goals, and Maladroit aims pretty high with his first 2x12". Released on a new Russian label after almost a decade of hard to find 12" and CDRs, this Australian's producer's first ever album is of the hectic, very breaky one, even though it manages to find a good balance between the hard breaks and the tongue-in-cheek mashups. Not as simple as early Shitmat, but more humorous than dark, this album manages to relight the enthusiasm that one could have about breakcore, and for this deserves to be recommended on this site. Whether it's the best album of the genre or not? We'll let you decide of that.
