Following Wisp and Gareth Clarke, here's another new artist "discovered" by Venetian Snares and signed to Sublight. The Warp-ish, post Aphex Twin and Squarepusher elements are still very clear, but this british newcomer manages to infuse his sound with a bit more old school beats and lines and a bit of fun innovations, giving to "Ave Mavis" enough originality to make it stand out from the legions of IDM producer influenced by Richard James. A strong CD for this genre.
