Excellent second album for this american instrumental post rock band. Very intense-sounding, My Education reminds quite a lot of Mogwai, but has traded some of the heavier guitars for an interesting cello and additional melodies. Melancholic, heavy and powerful, "Italian" is a very direct album, which would fit in any discography next to the aforementionned Mogwai, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Mono or Giardini Di Miro. Beautiful and very recommended.
