Sixth album for Not Breathing, an act active since the mid 90's and known mostly for his albums on Martin Atkins's Invisible. Taking a more abstract direction than in his former down-tempo, bassy works or his more electronica "Minotaur" 12" on Terminal Dusk, Not Breathing delivers with "The Black Old Pueblo" a very broken and dark mixture of soundscapes, small beats, weird samples and sudden changes. Not for the faint of heart, and definitely something you want to listen to actively.
