Released back in 2006, Omen's "Rise EP" has become quite a classic. Based on a quite dry and simple beat, a "Star Wars" sample, a big wobbly bass and a relatively high tempo, the original track is guaranteed to bring some heavy headnodding. On the B-side, the remixes by Skream and N-Type strip down the sound, make the whole thing sound a bit harder and faster, but retain the oppressive feeling of the original. A solid record involving three unmissable actors of this scene.
