Splendid new collaboration between the currently very prolific Peter Broderick (known mostly for his two albums on Type last year) and the equally zealous Machinefabriek. A lot easier on the ear than one could expect, this collaboration is a beautiful, melancholic and very aerial game of piano, glitches and drones, somewhere between Max Richter and Spyweirdos or the Alva Noto / Ryoji Ikeda collabs. Instrumental safe for one track, and all throughout pretty dark, here's a perfect winter album if you ask me.
