Nice and clear new record by Pinch, who has been lately a bit less productive than his fellow heavy hitters of the dubstep scene. Reminding somewhat of Skream's previous 12" on Tectonic, this one also features prominent techno influences and flows over the dubstep tempo and tonalities (which Pinch however has the good idea to keep quite dub). The tempo is slightly higher than normal, some well found effects are thrown in the mix and, in the end, the whole thing sounds quite refreshing and uncommon from this pillar of this scene.
