The first track of this EP by Quentin Hiatus is a punchy, distorted drumstep tune which, though it doesn't really fall into fast rhythms or amens, has a solid potential with club goers tired of dubstep's slow tempo. The second track, much clearer and full of some of kind of synthetic rave piano, is a completely different affair, as it constantly hesitates between the weight of its underlying distortion and the aerial side of its tones. Not a bad EP in the end, though quite suffering from split personality.
