First release for both artist, and a real success. This "Indian Spice" EP contains two tracks written together by the perfect strangers (at least to me) that are Ratbeat and Spankbass, as well as one solo track each. While the later are very solid, heavy and dark, but not distorted, dubstep, the collaborative ones feel a bit faster and more complex. Entering the territory of d'n'b and drumstep, they still do it without adding any noise to the recipe but by benefiting from well found drums and distant melodies. Strong, powerful, and dancefloor-stuff, but not cliché. Recommended.
