A new duo formed by the musician behind the IDM / breakcore act X&Trick, Belgium's Red Eyes present here a stylistically wide EP whose four tracks encompass more or less everything that one could do with dubstep. Between the 8 bit crunk melodies of the opening tracks to the aerial, loung-esque closing tunes, "Passing By" also features some dirthy, "filthy" heavy basslines and beats, and there's really something for everybody in here. The production is quite good, the tracks are obviously written for DJs, and this is quite an interesting debut for this act.
